Welcome to the official Book Snark podcast!

Snarky Lives! (As if you even noticed I was gone.) Not only is Snarky, well, snarky, she's lazy. The whole reading the book, writing up the snark. . . it just didn't happen fast enough for her.
"There's got to be an easier way!" She threw her arms up in disgust and abandoned the whole thing.

Well, podcasting isn't exactly easier but Snarky was intrigued enough to agree to attempt a comeback. After completing her first podcast recording, Snarky reported that she found it more spontaneous and less prone to editing while working.
"Podcasting has revived me. I'm rarring to go."
In honor of the soon to be released Harry Potter 6, Snarky has decided to  pull out all the stops! It's a Harry Potter primer: with snarks from the one that started in all, Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, to the mammoth Order of the Phoenix.
The fantastical snarks don't stop there. Snarky will revisit the Artemis Fowl franchise, including the recent release: The Opal Deception.
Snarky continues to snark the realms of Fantasy with Diana Wynne Jones's Chrestomanci series.
Oh, heck, let's just make this whole year one big Fantasical snark!

That means, yes, just in time for the February 2006 World Premiere of Lord of the Rings: The Musical (I kid you not.), I'll be snarking the massive trilogy. Yeah, it'll probably take that long because we'll all need the occassional break from Tolkien's tome. Those breaks will be filled by C.S. Lewis's Chronicles of Narnia. Appropriate because of a Christmas season release of the film, The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe.

Nestled somewhere in there, probably between Artemis and Chrestomanci, Snarky has insisted (It was a condition in her contract.) that she review her favorite fantasy novel, Tailchaser's Song, in honor of its twentieth anniversary.

Snarky has a few surprises up her sleeve that she might just pop in unannounced. So be sure to check back often or simply add the Book Snark to your Podcast subscriptions.
